Her Eyes

Developing Nations Feature

Her Eyes, originally uploaded by made2serve.

Yesterday I got back from India. I was there with one of our International Programme Officers, Jared, to look at the work of ASHA in Delhi and Saahasee in Mumbai. Both of these organisations are partners of TEAR Fund NZ. If you help support our work, then you also help support theirs.

After seeing their work, I cannot sing their praises enough. What they are doing is phenomenal!

One of my jobs was to get pictures. I snapped plenty. This was my favourite. I photographed this little girl while in one of the slums of Delhi looking at the amazing work of ASHA, who run healthy clinics and educate people on health issues within the slums.

Andres, I’m not sure. I couldn’t get a proper answer when I asked about it… we were crossing wires in translation :)
