Wow never knew you hadn’t travelled overseas before. It’s been a while since I read your blog, especially after my wireless is down so I can’t browse with my own computer anymore.

But I totally agree, I got that T-shirt from Micah Clothing with the 1st and 3rd world picture and the message “stop recklessly supporting the illusion of progress at the expense of human and environmental health”

I backed off that for a while because the T-shirts are organic and I didn’t really care about that sort of thing.
But I realised later that in cotton growing industries they don’t (generally) have the machinery to apply chemicals and often the labour has to apply harmful chemicals that can kill them.
Also there eco systems are in no way controlled like ours and dumping in a river is no problem at all (once again just speculation)

So yeah I later bought the T-shirt even though I’m not that heavy on green issues I agree with the fact that climate change is big. Organic cotton is totally worth the feeling and the better of another countries ecosystem. I’m not sure on my stance of global warming however I’m a bit in the middle there.
