On July 25th, thousands of people all around the world united at demonstrations to show their support for the current political struggle in Iran and those opposed to the current theocratic government.
Rallies were held in about 100 cities around the globe. I happened to be in San Francisco as the event unfolded. At the time I was completely unaware that it was happening and was wandering around in the hours leading up to my plane leaving for New Zealand. I spotted the event from a distance and headed towards it.
I was attracted by the colour and found myself amongst the crowd. It was a well behaved crowd full of optimism. While amongst it, I snapped a whole lot of photos. I chose the best of them to upload to my flickr account www.flickr.com/photos/made2serve and here is the slideshow of the best ones I took at that event.
