If you’ve followed this blog recently, you will know I spent some time at a Compassion project in the Kibera slums of Nairobi, Kenya. Compassion is a TEAR Fund partner. They are the organisation we do child sponsorship through.
I thought I would share a slideshow of my favourite photos that I took while at the project. The kids were wonderful and the experience will be etched in my memory as a highlight forever. Hopefully you can capture something of the experience through these images.
Each of the children in these images has a sponsor – someone who has decided to invest in their lives to help give them a bright start in the most poverty stricken circumstances. If you would like to invest in the life of a child, call TEAR Fund on 0800 800 777.

What incredible photos! Thanks for sharing these!
Beautiful pics bro. Looks like you are having an amzing trip…
Wow these are beautiful… I spent some time volunteering as a primary school teacher in Kibera in January/February of this year and it’s awesome to see some photos of someone else’s experience. Our school wasn’t nearly as nice as this one – a building that wouldn’t even be allowed to stand in NZ, but it’s great to see what Compassion International has done for those kids:)
