The following is the full video from President Obama that he delivered to the Muslim world from Cairo, Egypt.
It is a speech that is worthy of praise and I was especially glad to hear an American President acknowledge the destruction of Iran’s fledgling democracy in the early 50’s and the use of predominantly Muslim countries as proxies for the Cold War.
I also enjoyed seeing an American President confidently quote the Qu’ran and the Bible while affirming in front of a Muslim audience, that he is Christian.

America is one of the smallest Muslim nations in the world. . .where did he pull that from that we are one of the biggest. That’s very untrue. Also I am all for respecting Muslims, Hindus, and Jews but the persecution of Christians in these highly renown muslim and hindu nations have been persecuting Christians like crazy, including the killing of a 5 year old christian in pakistan just last week after torturing them first. Shouldn’t they try to respect us in return? I don’t understand how that is acceptable at all. If you want respect, you give it to others too.
The speech may have been well received by some in both the West and the Islamic world, but, fundamentally Obama is still representing a worldview that many of the players will not accept, particularly as it pertains to the Israeli vs Palestinian issue.
To put this in some perspective, consider Abbas (Chairman of PA), who is referred to as a moderate… his thesis at Moscow University was a denial of the Holocaust.
