Reporter in Protests at G20 (video)
The G20 summit is convening in London with some of the world’s most powerful leaders discussing various issues, with the central issue being the current global financial situation.
Traditionally the G20 has also been a focus for various protest groups, some with legitimitate concerns, others simply looking for a fight. The protests themselves have always been a large focus of news stories. Most of the large news organisations generally have reporters covering what is happening with the political leaders and other covering the protests.
I have found Al Jazeera English to be a great source of information on what is happening. You can follow the articles on their main website and also follow their updates at the G20 on Twitter.
The following video demonstrates some of the tense edge of the protests. Hamish MacDonald (you can follow Hamish on Twitter), one of the reporters for Al Jazeera was in the middle of it all.
