Sunday 1st March. – Lent 2009
It is the first Sunday of Lent. Traditionally, on Sundays during Lent, you are free to break the discipline of fasting as Sunday is viewed as a mini Easter celebration where we celebrate the resurrection of Christ and new life.
This tradition presents Sunday as a day that is about living, so today’s Lent journal entry is simply a question. If today is about life and about living, what would it mean for you to truly live and what does it mean for you to offer life to others? What would that look like for you?
