I was in Dey Krahorm a year ago when LICADHO and others were fighting to let residents stay. I wrote an article about it but no one seemed interested. So sad…

I was in Phnom Penh on Saturday 17 January one week before these events. In the Cambodia Daily that morning there was a photo of a municipal official, visiting the community, inviting residents to submit claims for compensation for their homes, and promising that “no action” would be taken while these claims were considered. This video seems a funny idea of “no action”.
