Video – Pray, Fast, Give. It’s About Justice
There are three central traditions that we undertake during Lent. Fasting from little things is the one that gets the focus, but all three work together and it may come as a surprise, but their focal points are justice (making things right) and restoration.
They are:
Prayer - Justice and restoration toward and in union with God.
Fasting - Justice and restoration toward and within self.
Giving – Justice and restoration toward and in union with our neighbour; our fellow human beings.
Watch the following video and spend today considering it:
The video endorses the work of Living Water International, but if you would like to specifically give to water projects through TEAR Fund in order to help supply clean water where it is necessary in places around the world where we are involved, call us on 0800 800 777 and talk to us about what options there are.
