MTV EXIT and Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking

Alerting all pop culture junkies – MTV has developed an awareness campaign called MTV EXIT whose aim is to draw attention to the human trafficking situation in our world.

From their website:

MTV EXIT aims to increase awareness and prevention of human trafficking through television programs, online content, live events, and partnerships with anti-trafficking organizations.

Check out this site to learn more about trafficking and how you can get involved. Watch or download our celebrity-presented documentaries as well as the short films and promos, plus get information on live events we are producing.

If you are not well versed in the trafficking issue, it is a good website to visit to get some initial education. If you’re a follower of fads and don’t give much thought to this sort of thing, there are also some celebrities there to convince you about why you should be thinking about it. Chances are, if you’re at this site though, you don’t need such convincing.
